Reading News: I haven't finished any books this week, but I have started Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott. I'm about halfway finished and I'm loving it so far. I'm also reading Impulse by Ellen Hopkins, which is freaking huge. I got Generation Green in the mail and I hope to start that one this week too, since it sounds really good.
Blogging News: This week, I changed my backround! Yes! Thanks to Kristi (The Story Siren) for helping me out, because I'm practically clueless about HTML stuff. I posted a list of my favorite blogs for Book Blogger Appreciation Week here. I also posted a review for House of Dance by Beth Kephart here.
Suggested Topic: The Fantasy Genre.
I haven't read too much out of this genre, but I've been getting into it more and more lately. First, I got interested in vampire books. I never knew that there was such a variety of vampire books until I started finding out about more of them. I have also read City of Bones which deals with a lot of fantasy stuff. I'm reading City of Ashes now, and I cannot believe how much I like the fantasy genre - it was never something I read when I was younger.
Personal News: The next few weeks will probably be spare as far as reading goes, sadly. Homecoming is in two weeks (we just got my dress - it's so pretty :D) and I'm on Student Government and we're working our butts off to get everything done on time. I'm co-chair for one of the committees - planning the Pep Rally - and so it shall be interesting. :p In other news, my mom and I went and ordered my Varsity Jacket this week! I'm so excited, because I earned my letter as a freshman for choir and I'll have it as a sophomore. :D

Yeah, Impulse is huge, but it's still a quick read. Since it's in verse, there's a lot of white space on the pages. I probably read it in about a day or so. I remember I read that one really quickly cuz I was leaving for school like the next day, lol.
Living Dead Girl is VERY good.
